Limelight Performers invite children aged 4-18 to our popular one day musical theatre workshops! Run by the experienced Limelight Performers Creative Team, children will be immersed in dance, drama, and song. Our Starlights (aged 12-18) and our Spotlights (aged 7-11) will take part in a full day of fun skills building activities, including elements of vocal warm-ups, script analysis, improvisation games, and learn a short scene, song, and choreographed dance from a hit musical. Our Footlights (aged 4-6) will have a half day workshop, learning songs and dances from a family favourite. At the end of the workshop, children will put together a short showcase for families before pick up.
All sessions will take place in the Performing Arts spaces at Suffolk New College, Rope Walk, Ipswich on Wednesday 29th May.

Starlights (aged 12-18):

What they need to bring
Drinks – no fizzy please
Packed lunch (for Starlights/Spotlights only)
Snacks, there are two scheduled breaks for Starlights/Spotlights as well as lunch, and one break for Footlights. Please make sure they have plenty of energy fuelled snacks as they will be on the go all day.
What to wear
Loose comfortable clothing, they will be moving and dancing all day.
Jazz shoes / trainers if they have them. If not, normal sports trainers please.
